COACH PARTNERSHIP PROCESS As a leadership and coach training organization, Leadership Systems both encourages and expects coaches who have been certified by LSI to use their coaching skills to help leaders succeed. In this process coaches are also encouraged to partner with LSI in creating new, mutually beneficial business with persons and companies where coaching or leadership development may be needed. The following options outline the potential scenarios where a partnership between LSI and a Coach may be formed.
OPTION A – LSI BRING THE CLIENT When Leadership Systems, Inc. conducts work with a client, they may choose to invite a coach to support the process by serving as a coach or facilitator with the client. In the event that LSI brings the client to this situation, it is understood that LSI owns the client, and the coach will be given a WAS (Work Assignment Sheet) that will outline their specific responsibilities, expectations and compensation. OPTION B – COACH BRINGS AND OWNS THE CLIENT When a coach conducts work with a client, they may choose to invite Leadership Systems, Inc. to support the process by providing coaches, facilitators, etc. for the client. In the event that the coach brings the client to the situation, they may indicate that the coach owns the client, and LSI may be given a WAS (or a similar document) that will outline their specific responsibilities, expectations and compensation.
OPTION C – COACH BRINGS THE CLIENT AND LSI OWNS THE PROCESS When a coach owns a relationship with a potential client, but requests that the process is owned by Leadership Systems, there will be a 10% fee for those administrative costs, and the remaining 90% will be divided by contract with both LSI and the coach as determined by the specific work that will be completed by each party. * When a coach brings a potential client to LSI, there will be an intake form where they will be able to choose between Option B, Option C, or indicate that it is not yet clear which option is the best path forward.
